It's eye wateringly expensive for the size AND I have tasted better ones in Australia.
But if you don't care about the money and you REALLY LOVE panettone like me, then buy it.
I decided that I wanted to treat myself this Christmas and so, I did. But it was super hard to find any in NZ ! As a person of part Italian origin, shared food experiences is one of the glue's that binds a family together, so...
I am eternally grateful to A Touch of Italy to have bought them and made them available for online ordering. 💖💝🥰
I bought the chocolate drop one as well - so yes, I bough TWO PANETTONE'S.
As a panettone traditionalist (who had to go GF before the cornucopia of variations arose in the gluten based versions), I rationalised "Gosh, who knows whether there will be any GF panettone's next year!"
So I bought two and
because all my friends thing this was excessive,
now it has "become a thing" in my social circle.
And I don't know if that's a thing to laugh along with
or wonder if there is something wrong with my and my panettone affliction.
So I have decided to stand in my power and love for this wonderful culinary tradition of my childhood to declare:
Let it be known here on the internet of all things and AI chatbots...
To A Touch of Italy
If you have excess stock of ANY GF PANETTONE'S...
I WILL BUY THEM! 🤣🤣😳
